Think Pink: Falcons Fight Breast Cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Atlanta Falcons and its sponsor Piedmont Hospital, want to give you the chance to honor an Atlanta Metro area survivor you know by nominating them to win a "Be Strong. Feel Beautiful" gift package to celebrate their strength and beauty!

The gift package includes:

A Bloomingdale's makeover and $50 gift certificate
A Falcons 365 Breast Cancer Awareness pink terry sweat suit, tee and hat, as well as a $50 Falcons 365 gift certificate for use online or in store
A Maggiano's gift certificate for dinner for two ($75 value)
A Spa Sydell "Big Burgundy" gift certificate for a one hour massage and pedicure ($120 value)
Two (2) tickets to see the Falcons take on the Green Bay Packers November 13 at the Georgia Dome

To nominate a breast cancer survivor from the Metro Atlanta area who has inspired you, visit the official essay contest entry page and complete the following phrase:

"The woman I am nominating is the definition of strength and beauty because..."

All essays will be reviewed by a panel comprised of representatives from Piedmont Hospital and the Falcons very own Danielle Beverly, wife of tight end Eric Beverly and a breast cancer survivor. While we know that all essays will tell powerful stories about inspirational women, we will look to select three nominees whose stories exemplify both strength and beauty.

The contest begins on Wednesday, October 5 and conclude Monday, October 31. Winners must be able to provide their own transportation to and from all events, and tickets are non-transferable. Official Contest Rules.

Go to my blog and get the breast cancer site link. For clicking each day (it's free, the site sponsors provide free mammograms for women who can't afford them. When you click the pink box the link opens and it tells you how many free mammograms have been given out for the month.
